Joining the Management Committee

Help make the difference for Clydebank

Are you passionate about people and communities? Want to ensure quality homes and people-centred service delivery? Want to help our communities thrive? Want to use your skills and knowledge for the benefit of Trafalgar Housing Association?

Trafalgar Housing Association is a small community-controlled housing association formed in 1990 with stock in Dalmuir and Radnor Park in Clydebank. With just over 300 properties we are West Dunbartonshire’s smallest housing association but we like to think we’re the best!

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, passionate and committed individuals for our Management Committee – people who want to make a real difference for Trafalgar’s tenants and wider community.

So what would you be doing?

You would be part of a team responsible for the strategic direction of the organisation and ensuring its long-term success. You would ensure the financial and general well-being of the Association and ensure that the Association complies with legal and regulatory requirements.

Who are we looking for?

Trafalgar is committed to equality and diversity and would welcome interest from all sections of the community.

We would particularly welcome interest from anyone with housing, maintenance, finance or governance experience.

Your commitment

You would be expected to prepare for, attend and contribute to up to 10 evening Committee meetings per year, take part in training sessions and participate in additional meetings if required.

We can offer

We will support you in this rewarding, challenging but ultimately satisfying role and will offer relevant training and support.

Trafalgar is driven to make a positive difference to the lives of our tenants and wider community. Why not come and join us?
