Alison Leabody – Director
Appointed as Director in February 2026, Alison has worked with Trafalgar since 2001 and in housing for over 40 years gaining an extensive knowledge of the sector. During her time in Trafalgar HA Alison has worked as Housing Manager (2001-2008) and Property Services Manager (2008-2026).
Alison oversees all aspects of the Association; liaising with Staff, Committee, Contractors and The SHR to ensure our compliance with regulatory requirements. Alison is committed to ensure that at Trafalgar our tenants are at the heart of everything we do.
Stephen Boag – Housing Manager
Stephen joined the Association as Housing Manager in April 2024. Having worked in housing for over 20 years with West Dunbartonshire Council, Stephen has built experience as a housing assistant, housing officer, homeless prevention officer and a team leader. Stephen is responsible for the delivery of the Housing Management service and works closely with local agencies including the council, citizens advise, social work, police, our contractors and most importantly our tenants to ensure they receive a service worthy of their rent.
Samantha Dennis – Housing Officer
Samantha joined the Association as Housing Officer in February 2024. Samantha started her housing career in South Lanarkshire Council before moving to Sanctuary Housing in 2021 as a Housing Officer. During this time, she built up an extensive knowledge of social housing. Samantha works closely with Stephen in Housing Management to deliver an excellent housing service to our tenants. Samantha works especially closely with our tenants to ensure rent arears are kept to a minimum and with local agencies which may be able to help our tenants.
Sara Pattison – Corporate Services Officer
Sara joined the Association in 2015 as Admin Assistant and her role evolved to Corporate Services Officer in September 2021. During her time with Trafalgar Sara has gained experience in many areas of the housing sector. Sara’s role sees her work closely with the Management Committee and Finance Agent as well as other external consultants. Sara is involved in many of our wider role activities and has recently taken on the role of a Career Ready mentor and Modern Apprentice mentor.
Joanne Walsh – Maintenance Assistant
Joanne joined Trafalgar as a temp Admin Assistant in 2022, however was successfully recruited as Maintenance Assistant in January 2023. Coming from a career as an estate agent, Joanne has gained experience in social housing and in particular maintenance while at Trafalgar. Joanne works very closely with our tenants and contractors to ensure our tenants receive a first-class repairs service and all checks are carried out in accordance with government guidelines.
Gordon Dickson – Maintenance Inspector
Gordon joined Trafalgar in December 2023 where his role was to pre, and post inspect repair jobs and carry out surveys in all our properties. Gordon’s main role now sees him as the liaison between our contractor and tenants for major work and planned maintenance. Coming from a background as a qualified tradesman he can also carry out the odd handy repair.
Sharon Frew – Admin Assistant
Sharon joined Trafalgar in October 2025 as a temp member of staff, and was successfully recruited as a permanent member of staff in July 2026. Sharon has worked in admin jobs for many years but focused on housing since 2023. During this time, Sharon has gained a wide understanding of social housing and the needs of tenants. Sharon is the first and main contact for most of our tenants whether in person, on the phone or over email and always greets them with a warm and friendly manner.
Trafalgar Housing Association employs staff to carry out the day to day operations of the Association. Trafalgar is an associate member of EVH which is responsible for negotiating and agreeing all terms and conditions of service and other matters such as pay and grading arrangements with Unite, the Union.
Fair Work First is “the Scottish Government’s flagship policy for driving fair work, and workforce diversity across the labour markets in Scotland”. From 1st July 2023, any organisation applying for public funding has to demonstrate their commitment to the principles and make this publicly available on their website. Trafalgar Housing Association is also committed to complying with the standards set by EVH and Unite in their joint statement on Fair Work First criteria.
